CONTRACTOR'S WARRANTY

First Light Energy warrants all work shall be performed in a good and workmanlike manner in accordance with industry standards. First Light Energy warrants its work to be free from material defects for a period of ten (10) years from the date the Services are rendered. Labor or materials provided by other manufacturers is not included with First Light Energy's warranty, except for the services provided by First Light Energy to install, repair, or service non-contractor materials. First Light Energy's warranty does not cover damage typically covered by Customer's insurance, such as damage caused by falling trees or limbs, or normal wear and tear of the roof, substructure, siding or electrical system. First Light Energy's warranty also does not cover issues caused by animals, weather-related events, improper maintenance of the System, the roof's underlying structure, or by any action of a party other than First Light Energy or a First Light Energy-authorized party. Internet connectivity for monitoring or data transmission / signal loss issues, and relocation or re configuring of the System are the responsibility of the Customer.

MANUFACTURER WARRANTY

First Light Energy will pass through all relevant manufacturer's warranties, and on a best-efforts basis, interface with vendors to facilitate enforcement of any original equipment manufacturer (OEM) warranties. The system’s most critical components – the solar modules and inverters—are covered by 12 to 25-year performance warranties, which protect against component-related failure. Typically, a performance warranty is measured against a fixed percentage of the standard test condition DC output. After the workmanship warranty period ends, the linear performance kicks in based on power output, which entails the manufacturer repairing or replacing any under performing panel. In the rare event that panels break due to manufacturing defects, manufacturer shall repair or replace the module.
